The Boise Soccer League is sponsored by the Amateur Soccer Association Idaho, a proud affiliate of US Club Soccer. Players registered through ASAI have all the rights and privileges provided by US Club Soccer, including liability and medical insurance.

The goal of BSL is to bring an entirely fresh approach to soccer for amateur adult players in Boise. Because we are affiliated with US Club Soccer and because of our approach to the beautiful game, we will provide recreational and competitive soccer at a substantially reduced cost, at least a 30% reduction in cost for players and teams. The fundamental philosophy of the BSL includes: open financial reporting, player run leagues, and NO MORE FINES! We believe there are more creative and positive ways to enforce discipline in the league. See the ‘FAQs’ page for more information.

The Amature Soccer Association Idaho (ASAI), the organization that sponsors BSL, has reached an agreement with Boise Parks and Recreation to share park resources will all the other sports groups who compete for these valuable and limited resources. The ASAI is committed to working with Boise Parks to develop soccer fields so that adult soccer can grow at a sustainable rate. A portion of your fees is donated to Boise Parks for this purpose. The ASAI and BSL have an excellent relationship with the Southwest Idaho Soccer Referees Association. Referees will be assigned through Arbiter by Al Padly, the SWISRA referee assignor, who will work closely with all other referee assignors to ensure the highest quality officiating available in Boise for BSL games. Teams DO NOT have to provide referees to the league and the league WILL NOT fine teams that do not have referees.
